Upper Dauphin Area and Millersburg are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. Millersburg posted their closest victory yet this season on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Susquenita and snuck past 41-39.
Millersburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tavin Yates led the charge by scoring ten points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Yates has scored all season. Nolan Schreffler was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Upper Dauphin Area's win bumped their record up to 2-14. As for Millersburg, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.
Things could have been worse for Upper Dauphin Area, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-36 loss to Millersburg in their previous matchup back in December of 2023.
