After a string of eight wins, The Las Lomas Knights''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 34-14 walloping at the hands of Acalanes. Acalanes got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sully Bailey out in front who threw for 136 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jack Giorgianni was another key contributor, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Las Lomas' defeat dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Acalanes, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-4.
Las Lomas' homestand continues as they prepare to take on Miramonte at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Acalanes, they will head out on the road to face off against Campolindo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Campolindo is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
