Trace Buechle Goes Supernova in Valentine Victory
Starting off the list is Valentine's Trace Buechle, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Buechle threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win (which was Valentine's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Buechle and Valentine will head out to challenge Amherst at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

If history really does repeat itself, Hill might just drop another big game when he faces off against Gordon-Rushville on Friday. Hill picked up 0.5 sacks and made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss) the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.

Sadly, Landon Kennicutt posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Hershey over Amherst on Friday. Kennicutt made 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Kearney Catholic Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Jacob Bosshamer
Jacob Bosshamer's big game helped extend Kearney Catholic's winning streak to six on Friday. Bosshamer was dynamite, throwing for 112 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
