The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pasadena, who took down 576th ranked Pasadena, 37-8.
Hoover moved up to 706 from 795 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Pacific. The Tornadoes climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Bulldogs 37-8.
Burbank's dynamic duo of Ryan Meredith and Francis Nicks proved tough for Crescenta Valley to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Meredith threw for 139 yards and one touchdown and Nicks had 75 yards receiving. Teddy Arlington helped Burbank's passing attack out by catching two balls for 62 yards.
Jake Medel was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 221 yards as Arcadia beat the Falcons. Sheldon McKinley also contributed to the rushing game with 120 yards on the ground.
The Apaches' Zachary Lee and Darius Elliot have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Lee has thrown for 1011 yards this season, while Elliot, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 16 catches for 428 yards. Burbank's James Williams leads the league in rushing yards with 953.
The top two teams in Pacific will face off this week when first place Burbank takes on second place Muir. Last week, Hector Valencia's team defeated Crescenta Valley, while Muir bested Burroughs.
Williams of the the Bulldogs is only 47 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Muir takes on Burbank. John Hardy's team has allowed 151 points this season, while the Bulldogs have given up 108. The Mustangs allowed 14 points last week as they beat the Indians.
Muir extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Burroughs, 21-14. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Mustangs.
