The Antioch Sequoits won against the Grant Community Bulldogs last Tuesday with 44 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Antioch enjoyed a cozy 44-29 win over Grant Community. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Antioch.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Antioch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Heidi Rathmann, who scored 14 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Rathmann has scored at least 25% of Antioch's points. Another player making a difference was Macie Volkmar, who scored 10 points.
Antioch's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Grant Community, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Antioch will head out on the road to face off against Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grant Community, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Johnsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
