The Hamilton Aggies will challenge the Northside Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Hamilton 3.3, Northside 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Hamilton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Haleyville an 8-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Aggies in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

Not much got past Addi Wilson, who gave up just seven hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Haleyville off the board. That's the most strikeouts Wilson has posted over her last 11 matchups.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brilyn Gilstrap, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Ella Rose Bartlett was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Northside didn't have quite enough to beat Hillcrest on Tuesday and fell 5-3. The Rams have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.
Brayden Billings was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
Even though they lost, Northside hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. This was only their first loss (out of six games) when they post two or more strikeouts.
Hamilton now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Northside, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1.
