Bergan Catholic waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the North Bend Central Tigers 50-8. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Bergan Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Austin Scheuler, who threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns. Alex Kimminau also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

Bergan Catholic's run defense was locked in: North Bend Central could only muster 2.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Jayden Stillman for the heroic effort on defense: he. Bergan Catholic didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.2.
