Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps national rankings, Victor should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will challenge Arlee on the road at 7:00 PM. The teams both have set a high bar for this match after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests.
Victor had a rough outing against Seeley-Swan two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Victor took their contest against Plains last Saturday 44-34. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Victor's flat performance the game before.
Meanwhile, Arlee put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on St. Ignatius with a sharp 50-16 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Arlee had established a 38-16 advantage.
Victor took a serious blow against Arlee the last time the two teams met, falling 6-52. Can Victor avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
