Oakman won the last time they faced Hanceville, and Tyler Thomas did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bulldogs 62-13 with plenty of help from Thomas, who rushed for 306 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.

Oakman's record is now 2-3. As for Hanceville, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Oakman and Hanceville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wildcats see the field they'll take on Gordo at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Hanceville, their break will end when they face Vinemont at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
