Richman lost against the Hunter College Hawks back in February of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Richman lost to Hunter College on the road by a decisive 67-52 margin. Richman has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Hunter College to victory were Jackson Cohen and Noah Kay. Cohen scored 21 points along with four steals, while Kay dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds. The contest was Kay's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Belayneh Barkley, who scored four points along with six steals.
Richman now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Hunter College, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Richman will be playing at home against Laguardia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Laguardia comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Hunter College, they will head out on the road to face off against Environmental at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Environmental is ranked 51st, while Hunter College is ranked 72nd).
