Meanwhile, Winnisquam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 50-30 to Gilford.

Newfound Regional's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Winnisquam, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Newfound Regional was taken down by Winnisquam 61-26 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Newfound Regional avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
