Kirby won against Kingsbury last Thursday with 62 points, and Kirby decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Kirby were fully in charge, breezing past Bolton 62-0. Followers of Kirby probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
The victory bumped Kirby's record up to 6-1. Bolton are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-7.
Next week Kirby take on Southwind at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. Bolton will be staying on the road, facing off against Overton. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with seven consecutive losses apiece.
