The Layton Lancers will head out on the road to face off against the Copper Hills Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses dating back to last season for Layton and five for Copper Hills.
Two weeks ago, Layton was beaten by Weber 42-14. Layton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.
Although Layton took the loss, they still got scores from Kanyon Loveland and Gabriel Lopez.
Meanwhile, Copper Hills suffered a rough 35-14 loss at the hands of Riverton on Friday. Copper Hills was down 28-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
The losses dropped Layton to 0-9 and Copper Hills to 4-6.
