For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Rootstown and Windham meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Rovers came out on top against the Bombers by a score of 2-0. The Rovers haven't had any issues with the Bombers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rootstown was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15.

Addie Curall paced Rootstown's offense, picking up four kills. Curall got some help from Colbie Curall and her six assists. Kylie Shelly controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Rootstown's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Windham, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Coincidentally, Rootstown and Windham will both be playing LaBrae the next time they take the court. The Bombers will host the Vikings at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rovers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
