The Morse Tigers will head out on the road to  challenge  the Santana Sultans  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Morse is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last five games.

O'Farrell Charter came into Thursday's   contest looking for another win against Morse, but  Jhiovanni Lacosta wouldn't allow it. Morse was the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over O'Farrell Charter on Thursday for which the team can thank  Lacosta, who  had three  aces and two  blocks. What's more,  he racked up 28  assists, the most he's  had  over his last nine  games.
 Morse's got stronger as the match went on, holding O'Farrell Charter to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16,  25-15.
Morse got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Akhilles Bounleuang out in front who  had seven  kills and two  blocks. Another player making a difference was  Miguel Cobian, who  had six  kills, two  blocks,  and two  aces.
 Morse  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least ten  aces in three consecutive  matches.
Meanwhile, Santana lost  3-0 to Granite Hills on Tuesday.
 While Santana was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Granite Hills' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18,  25-21.
 Santana's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Morse,  the  victory  got them back to even at 9-9.
 Morse skirted past Santana  2-1 in their previous matchup  back in February of 2023. Does  Morse have another victory up their sleeve, or will Santana turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
