The Idea Timberwolves had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 64-57 win over Georgetown Day. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Among those leading the charge was Nehemiah Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 18 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Bradley, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals.
Idea's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Georgetown Day, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Idea will take on Eastern at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Georgetown Day, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Parkside at 5:45 p.m. on December 5th.
