Jeremy Johnston was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 270 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85% of his passes. Jayden Threatts and his 86 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Florida State University High School's victory.
The victory makes it two in a row for Florida State University High School and bumps their season record up to 6-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29 points. As for Rickards, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Florida State University High School will take on Marianna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marianna is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Rickards, they will stay at home for another week and welcome Arnold at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Arnold comes in on a streak of failing to score more than nine points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
