After a string of three wins, the May Tigers's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. Their2023 ended with a 55-36 loss against Thrall. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points May has scored all season.
Thrall's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashlyn Jarosek, who scored 17 points. The matchup was Jarosek's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kinley Hoffman, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
May's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Thrall, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.
May will be playing in front of their home fans against Abilene Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Abilene Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Thrall, they will head out on the road to face off against Holland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
