 Meanwhile,  after soaring to ten  goals the game before, Albuquerque Academy was a bit more limited  in their  contest  last Wednesday. They fell just short of Hope Christian by a score of  1-0. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now lost nine in a row.
 The  victory (which was Moriarty's third in a row) raised their record to 14-5-1. As for Albuquerque Academy, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-4-1.
 Moriarty might still be hurting after the  6-0 loss they got from Albuquerque Academy  when the teams last played  back in November of 2023. Can Moriarty avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
