Citrus Hill had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 35-27 win over the Redlands Terriers. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 34-6 victory the Terriers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.
Despite the loss, Redlands still got an impressive performance from Anthony Fraire, who rushed for 85 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries, and also threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (108 yards to be exact) went to Collier Colbert, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Citrus Hill will challenge Miller at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Redlands, they will take on Banning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 940 yards in their previous games.
