The Banner County Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Potter-Dix. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Banner County of the 55-46 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Banner County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaac Olsen. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Olsen has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendyn Onstott, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Banner County bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Potter-Dix, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Banner County will head out on the road to face off against Leyton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Potter-Dix, they will square off against South Platte at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
