RICHMOND, Calif. - After two lead changes, 
Salesian (Richmond, Calif.) took the lead for good when 
De'Angelo Hernandez ran for a touchdown with 3:00 to go in the fourth quarter and held on to upset 
Middletown (Calif.) 21-13 on Saturday.
The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at six. The Pride took the lead for good on a Hernandez touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Salesian entered the contest giving up 18.8 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding the Mustangs well above their season average of 1.9 points scored per game.
The loss comes after Middletown defeated Emery 55-0 last week.
