The Watertown Goslings are taking a road trip to take on the Beaver Dam Golden Beavers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Watertown is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
Watertown can't be too worried about heading out to take on Beaver Dam: they just beat Oregon at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Goslings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Panthers on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Goslings have posted since April 24th.
Cali Craig spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

 Breanna Meracle

| 05/13/25 @ Milton | 1 |
| 05/10/25 @ Oshkosh West | 1 |
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Breanna Meracle, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Allison Howlett was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Beaver Dam entered their tilt with Oconomowoc on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Raccoons with a sharp 11-5 victory. Beaver Dam's win was all the more impressive since the Raccoons were averaging only 4.08 runs allowed on the season.
Beaver Dam also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Addy Damon gave up three earned (and two unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Kendall Fakes was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Chloe Kasuboski also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Beaver Dam kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive matchups.
Watertown's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Beaver Dam, their record is now 14-9.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Watertown hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .331. However, it's not like Beaver Dam struggles in that department as they've averaged .349. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Watertown beat Beaver Dam 3-0 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Goslings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
