On Friday Little Wound take on Lead-Deadwood at 6:30 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Last week, Little Wound have to be hurting after a devastating 12-41 loss at the hands of Custer. Little Wound were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
Meanwhile, Lead-Deadwood took their game against Pine Ridge by a conclusive 45-14 score. Lead-Deadwood was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Lead-Deadwood's win lifted them to 2-1 while Little Wound's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Lead-Deadwood's success rolls on or if Little Wound are able to steal their positive momentum.
