The More Academy Crusaders will be playing at home against Landmark Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for More Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-51 loss to Lapeer Lakers Homeschool. While losing is never fun, More Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 664th, while Lapeer Lakers Homeschool is ranked 167th).
Meanwhile, Landmark Academy's 14-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 66-12 win over Michigan School for the Deaf. Landmark Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
More Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Landmark Academy, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6.
More Academy barely slipped by Landmark Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 55-54. Will More Academy repeat their success, or does Landmark Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
