The West Boca Raton Bulls's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They lost to Park Vista on the road  by a decisive  48-34 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to West Boca Raton of the  55-45 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture  back in January of 2023.
 Despite the  loss, West Boca Raton had strong showings from  Sophia Krefsky, who  scored 19 points, and  Yasmin Marcus, who  scored 11 points along with two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Krefsky has scored all season.
  Saniya Frazier continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Park Vista,  scoring 32 points along with six  rebounds and five  steals. Frazier is absolutely dominating the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Giulliana Mendonca, who  scored nine points along with six  rebounds.
 West Boca Raton has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost seven of their last eight contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Park Vista, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.
 West Boca Raton and North Broward Prep will face off  at 7:00  p.m.  on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. North Broward Prep presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West Boca Raton in Florida (North Broward Prep is ranked 147th, while West Boca Raton is ranked 336th). As for Park Vista, Park Vista and Royal Palm Beach will face off  at 7:00  p.m.  on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
