The Woodson Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Jackson-Reed, falling 71-18. Woodson has struggled against Jackson-Reed recently, as their match on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jackson-Reed to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justin Gilmore, who scored 13 points along with five assists and four steals. Joseph Mcrae was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 11 steals and eight assists.
Woodson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Jackson-Reed, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 29-2.
Woodson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jackson-Reed also has no future games currently scheduled.
