Terre Haute North Vigo barely beat South Vermillion the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. Considering the Patriots have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Nate Millington made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Brayden Dean and Parker Higham did most of the damage at the plate: Dean went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI, while Higham went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits Dean has posted since back in April. Austin Black was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Terre Haute North Vigo hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive matchups.
