The Accelerate Christian Warriors lost against the Claude Mustangs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Accelerate Christian had to suffer through a rough 57-30 loss at the hands of Claude.
Despite the defeat, Accelerate Christian saw an underclassman step up: Jaxon Leyendecker scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Accelerate Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Claude, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Accelerate Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Southcrest Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Southcrest Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Accelerate Christian in Texas (Southcrest Christian is ranked 717th, while Accelerate Christian is ranked 1523rd). As for Claude, they will head out on the road to face off against Bovina at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Bovina is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
