The Greendale Panthers will take on the Fond du Lac Cardinals at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Greendale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.3 runs per game this season.
Fond du Lac will be up against a hot Greendale team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Panthers came out on top against Sheboygan North by a score of 13-8 on Friday. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Ayla Krecklow was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

It's a different story for Fond du Lac, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Greendale continue to outrun the ball?
Greendale couldn't quite finish off Fond du Lac in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 10-8. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
