The Las Vegas Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Clark 59-30. Las Vegas lost against Clark in their previous head to head back in February of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 43-25 score last time.
It was another big night for Ariana Brown, who scored 25 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists for Clark. That makes it six consecutive games in which Brown has scored at least 25% of Clark's points. Coryn Theus was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 9 steals.
Las Vegas has fallen quite a ways from their 21-8 record last season and are now at 0-3. As for Clark, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Las Vegas won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Virgin Valley at 6:30 p.m. on December 5th. As for Clark, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Silverado at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Silverado is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
