After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Allegany, Somerset was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Greater Johnstown Trojans with a sharp 17-4 victory. That 13 run margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

With the win, Somerset broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8. As for Greater Johnstown, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Somerset didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against Central Cambria on the 1st.
