Those 92 rushing yards gave Cook a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tayvion Penn, who rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns.
The win got Bassett back to even at 5-5. As for Martinsville, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
