After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Brillion, Oostburg was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusaders as the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen made off with  a  10-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Oostburg also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2023.
  Levi Mills was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out ten batters over  4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Mills was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Caden Helmer, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Jakari Deblaey was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Like Oostburg, Sheboygan Area Lutheran also got a great game from a two-way player:  David Vanic. He  struck out 11 batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits (and not a single walk). Vanic was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  RBI.
 Vanic wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Asa Diener, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base.
 The  win  got Oostburg back to even at 1-1.
 Oostburg will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Hilbert at 4:30  p.m. As for Sheboygan Area Lutheran, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Manitowoc Lutheran at 4:30  p.m.
