Muir (Pasadena, Calif.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat Pasadena (Calif.), 37-7, on Saturday.
The Mustangs were up 17-7 at the half after taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the second quarter.
Muir expanded its lead to 24 points entering the fourth quarter. MHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Joshua Muema-washington touchdown pass to
Tyshawn Goodman.
With the win the Mustangs extended their winning streak to seven games. Muir defeated the Apaches 33-0 last week.
Muema-washington was the top performer for MHS. He threw three touchdowns.
The Bulldogs' lone touchdown came on a defensive touchdown in the second quarter.
The Mustangs came in allowing an average of 18.7 points per game this season.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 14-6 win for Muir.
