Caprock Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Pennie Underwood, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Underwood posted two or more blocks.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caprock Academy will square off against Plateau Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plateau Valley's defense has only allowed 24.8 points per game this season, so Caprock Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Soroco, Soroco and North Park will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully North Park focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday.
