Graham was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They were a single  point away from ending the streak, but they lost a  57-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vance County Vipers.

Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Ladario Johnson, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 17  rebounds. Johnson is  crushing it when it comes to  boards: he's   pulled down at least nine every time he's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Micah Woods, who  went 9 for 18  en route to 21  points along with six  steals and five  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Graham  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 29  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive  matchups.
 Vance County had a senior duo take command as  Tyshawn Alston  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and 16  boards and  Kayden Roberts  went 6 of 7  on his way to 16  points and seven  rebounds. What's more,  Alston also racked up three  steals, the most he's  had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Harold Timberlake, IV, who  posted seven points in addition to ten  boards and three  steals.
Graham's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Vance County,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 5-10.
 Graham has already played their next game,  a  77-62  defeat against Cummings on the 28th. As for Vance County, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  an  88-36  loss against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability on the 24th.
