North Valleys had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They took their  contest  with ease, bagging  a  54-27 victory over the Truckee Wolverines. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  games by 21  points or more this season.
 Ivy Williams was  her usual excellent self,  dropping  a triple-double on 27 points, 13  boards,  and 11  steals. That's the most  steals  she has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Emily Huff, who  posted 11  points in addition to six  rebounds and three  steals.
 North Valleys  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 19  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in six consecutive  matches.
 Several Wolverines players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Becca Brown, who  put up eight points.

North Valleys pushed their record up to 12-3 with the  win, which was their 15th straight  at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Truckee, their  loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-5.
 North Valleys is taking a road trip to  take on Wooster  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Truckee, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Hug  at 6:00  p.m.
