Silverado's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Bishop Gorman, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9-1.
Silverado's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bishop Gorman has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. It's a different story for Silverado, though, as they've been averaging 9.2 hits. Given Bishop Gorman's sizable advantage in that area, the Skyhawks will need to find a way to close that gap.
Bishop Gorman took their win against Silverado in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 14-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gaels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
