Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game with ease, bagging a 50-9 victory over the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls. The team accrued 38 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.

Allie McIntosh had an outrageously good game as she shot 57% from the field on her way to 21 points along with eight boards and seven steals. Those 21 points gave her a new career-high. Avery Togni was another key player, going 6-for-11 to rack up 14 points.

Looking ahead, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will face off against Carolina Friends at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Neuse Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m.
