Habersham Central proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Madison County Red Raiders. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

When it comes to explaining why Madison County lost, don't look at Kylee Treadway. Despite the final result, she had 16 assists and three digs.

Habersham Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Madison County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.
