Those two hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Lily Hammonds was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Young, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Parkview Baptist kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Port Allen didn't got any hits.
Madison Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Parkview Baptist, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
