The Bluffton Pirates won the last time they faced the Ada Bulldogs, and things went their way on Thursday too. Bluffton strolled past Ada with points to spare, taking the game 49-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bluffton.
Ashley Fleece was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Ayla Grandey, who scored ten points.
Bluffton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Ada, they bumped their record down to 4-7 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Bluffton will take on Crestview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ada, they will head out on the road to face off against Arcadia at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Arcadia presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ada in Ohio (Arcadia is ranked 181st, while Ada is ranked 633rd).
