The Ninety Six Wildcats can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Abbeville 43-16 at home. The victory was nothing new for Ninety Six as they're now sitting on four straight.
Leading Ninety Six to victory were Janiyah Squire and Olivia Coster. Squire dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Coster almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, ten rebounds, and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Coster has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Katie Fortner, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Ninety Six is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Abbeville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Ninety Six will head out on the road to take on Saluda at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Saluda is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. As for Abbeville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mid-Carolina at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mid-Carolina's defense has only allowed 23.5 points per game this season, so Abbeville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
