The Independence 76ers will head out on the road to face off against the James Lick Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Independence is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Independence had to settle for a 3-2 loss against Gunderson. Independence has not had much luck with Gunderson recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, James Lick has not lost a match since January 18th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They and Piedmont Hills finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.
Independence's loss dropped their record down to 0-10-1. James Lick's draw makes their record 6-7-5 on the season.
