Rio Grande City is 6-0 against Mission since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Rio Grande City Rattlers will head out to square off against the Mission Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Rio Grande City is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since November 19, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Martin by a score of 37-35. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mission). They breezed by Juarez-Lincoln to the tune of 71-33 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Rio Grande City's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12. As for Mission, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season.

Rio Grande City strolled past Mission in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 41-23. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rio Grande City since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
