Thomas continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kimora Wade was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Meanwhile, Richmond Hill strolled past Woodville-Tompkins with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 47-28. Given Richmond Hill's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Woodville-Tompkins is ranked 261st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lowndes' victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Richmond Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Lowndes against Richmond Hill in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 72-43 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lowndes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
