It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Rolesville Rams had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 69-21 victory over Fuquay - Varina. The victory was familiar territory for Rolesville who now have 11 in a row.
Rolesville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Devon Thomas, who rushed for 195 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Atkinson, who threw for 292 yards and five touchdowns.
Rolesville has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 12-1 record. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.56 points. As for Fuquay - Varina, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Rolesville has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Cardinal Gibbons at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. Cardinal Gibbons is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games. Fuquay - Varina does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
