Christian Collegiate Academy walked away with a 66-59 victory over Centreville Academy. The win made it back-to-back wins for Christian Collegiate Academy.
Christian Collegiate Academy found their leader in underclassman Payten Clark, who scored 20 points along with three steals. Clark continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Davis, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
Christian Collegiate Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-15. As for Centreville Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Christian Collegiate Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Centreville Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. The timing is sure in West Lincoln's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Centreville Academy has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
