Astronaut hasn't had much luck against East River recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Astronaut will host East River at 7:00 p.m. Astronaut is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
Astronaut took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over Space Coast.
Holden Quinn and Nathan Edwards made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Quinn pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Edwards didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched. Quinn is becoming a predictor of Astronaut's success: when he allows at most two hits the team is 3-1 (and 2-8 when he doesn't). At the plate, Quinn scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Edwards scored a run while going 1-for-4.
